Research Methods

Research Methods" refers to the systematic strategies, processes, and techniques used to collect, analyze, and interpret data to uncover new information or gain a deeper understanding of a topic. 

18th Century Poetry

This course surveys the main verities of English poetry during the Eighteenth Century. It introduces the students to the Augustan poetry which can best be represented by the classical poetry of Alexander Pope whose verse represents Neoclassical poetry. 

18th Century Drama

 This course provides a critical introduction to theatre studies, in its branches of dramatic Literature, dramatic theory and theatre history.

Linguistics I

This course is to acquaint

students with basic concepts and essential terminology related to the systematic study of 

language (Linguistics).

18th Century Novel

The course covers the 19th century English Novels and takes Pride and Prejudice for JANE AUSTENas highlight for this period. The presentation of the novel based on a general discussion on the plot of the book and its characters.

Morphology

This course is an introduction to the structure of words in English. Students

are required to know how words are formed in English. The course is considered

as a preliminary learning activity to some other advanced course in morphology.
